Terms and Conditions

All orders for products accepted by Thermoline Scientific and LabDirect (“Labdirect”) are subject to these terms and conditions. Any person placing orders for goods/products on LabDirect is bound by these terms and conditions.

Prices

The prices on our website are current at the time of viewing and LabDirect will try and maintain these prices specified on our website, however Labdirect reserves the right to change the price of any item without notice. All prices on the Labdirect website exclude GST and the customer must pay any applicable GST in addition to the specified price.

Any price quoted by Labdirect in writing is valid for 30 days from the date of offer.

Payment

Payment is to be made by cash, credit card, cheque or direct deposit prior to delivery. Any subsequent refund of orders paid for credit card or cheque will be made to the relevant credit card or bank account.

Order Delivery

LabDirect will endeavour to deliver all orders within 5 working days unless otherwise specified. If the order cannot be delivered within 5 working days, LabDirect will contact the customer via email or via phone to advise on a more accurate delivery time after the 5 working days. Order delivery times vary depending on stock availability.

Product

With constant sourcing of product and rapid developments in the industry, LabDirect is always reviewing its product range. LabDirect reserves the right to discontinue any product or to change its design at any time. LabDirect will not be held liable for failure to supply any product at any time.

Product Stock

LabDirect holds product stock in NSW, QLD and VIC. Products may need to be ordered in from networked suppliers in QLD and VIC states to then be distributed via our Wetherill Park warehouse.

Orders

LabDirect reserves the right to decline trade with any company or person. LabDirect will use reasonable endeavours to meet delivery estimates but in no circumstance will it be liable to compensate the customer for non-delivery or late delivery.

Delivery

The customers freight is charged as per the weight of the item and as per the rates supplied by Australia Post. A small fee will be charged to each order to cover packing and handling costs. This packing fee varies as per the size of the item.

Refunds

If you would like to return an item, we can offer you a refund or store credit of the same value. In some cases where an item has been specially ordered, custom-made (glassware or lab equipment) or hand packed, the item can be returned or cancelled and a standard re-stocking fee of 20% will apply to the refund value (re-stocking fee can vary depending on the item and whether or not a manual invoice has been generated). LabDirect does not cover or refund the freight/delivery costs for any item. Items must be returned at your cost. Further fees will apply if items are returned damaged (this includes carton damage to goods shipped in manufacturers original packaging). Refund claims must be made within 30 days of order receipt.

Returns of Faulty or Broken Items Products

LabDirect must be notified within 7 days if any faulty or broken product or item has been received. If notification is made within the 7 day period, an exchange or swap can be made for a new item or product. Claims made after the 7 day period cannot be swapped or exchanged.  LabDirect does not cover the freight costs for any returned item. Items must be returned at your cost.

Unclaimed Orders Returned to us by Australia Post or Other Nationwide Carriers

Unclaimed orders returned to us by Australia Post (or any other Nationwide Carrier) will be refunded. The refund will be less the delivery costs, as these costs have been incurred by us to deliver the items to your location. The purchaser must ensure they monitor the tracking of their order so it can be collected in a timely manner, should it require pickup from a local Post Office or Carrier Collection Point. If an unclaimed order is returned to us the freight will not be refunded. Please monitor your order deliveries.

Warranty

LabDirect will endeavour to transfer to the customer the benefits of any warranty or guarantee given to it by the manufacturer.

Special Offers, Free Delivery, Discount Cards & Discount Codes

The 10% off discount card and discount code is a stand-alone offer and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers, special promotions or discounts. Discount codes can only be used online via the store and cannot be redeemed if ordering with a purchase order (PO). Free delivery or other offers cannot be applied at the same time (only one offer or the other applies per order).
